HISTORY

Sinking after leaving port

Apparently, the fishing vessel Pilar Blanco collided with a floating object that caused a leak at 3:30 a.m. on 26 June 1978, just after leaving the port of A Coruña.

In August of that same year, an attempt was made to salvage it by the companies Extrasa and Santa Cruz, but without success.

Colloquially, its wreck is known as Pilar Bravo among divers.
